CHA Region 9 Free Virtual Conference – May 20, 2020

It's time for our Annual Meeting, taking place on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, 11:00 a.m. Central time and 10:00 a.m. Mountain time.  We will have a short meeting and two great presenters.  We will be doing this via Webinar and the following will be our agenda: 

Call to Order - Review of 2019 Minutes - Financial Report – State Activities Reports by Region 9 Representatives, (Shanda Mattix, Donovan Dobbs, Kiersten Thompson, Jennifer Cole, Lanae McDonald, Julie Fischer) - Region 9 Instructor & Horse of the Year Award by Katherine Goodwin - Right Horse Initiative update by Christy Landwehr - Facebook page status by Schellie Blochberger - New Business – Adjourn.

Then for our program we'll welcome Bonnie Riley with Riley Equine Center in Booneville, Missouri. Riley Equine Center's mission is to provide an educational and therapeutic experience for children and adults through horsemanship to strengthen body and mind in order to improve quality of life. Bonnie is a Licensed Psychologist, and offers Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) to those who want to experience therapy through hands-on therapies rather than office based therapy. Her facility also offers riding lessons to all age groups, therapeutic riding as well as recreational riding, horsemanship clinics and birthday parties.
